Where did I leave off....

Sounds like you had a lot of fun in Portland. You should have walked up to those artists like you were one of them. LOL
Glad you survived the monster of all stomach bugs and were able to have a fun weekend away!
I have not grown that far yet, I was scared of being rejected, or called an imposter. Strange I know, but I put myself on the outside rather than part of a group.
Me Too! I was scared it would hang on forever!
Glad to hear..er read.. that you're feeling better. =)
Did you get bunches of photos of Portland? If so, I hope you post them! It sounds like your weekend definitely made up for not feeling well during the week
of course I took bunches of photos! it would have been torture to not take pictures!
Hehe, just thought I'd make sure since there was only one in this post! *ahem*

;)
Nice to have you back. Before I forget, do those chestnuts look like this? I ask because these are everywhere right now and are commonly mistaken for chestnuts "roasting on an open fire" but they are not and they are poisonous, inedible, extremely bitter. Fine for displaying in a bowl though. As for the bad photo, here's a suggestion: don't pick an obvious throwaway but one with some positive elements (or that you thought were so at the time) but not enough for it to qualify as a good photo, like a borderline good-bad photo. It'll bolster your learning more than a photo that's obviously bad. Bet Portland is beautiful this time of year. It's a fun town to visit.
Haha! I have yet to upload, I should do that now while I am here.... feeling lazy, I still have my PJ top on, I have jeans on too. I am half way dressed for the day. ;-)
the site would not load for me right now, maybe I will try again later.
It is probably the poison one, the squirrels were LOVING them, haha!
Great idea, to pick a borderline photo, one that I like but know that if I shot it differently I could get better results. ;-) You are such a helpful neighbor, Thank you!
Hehe, it's always fun being half dressed for the day!
p.s. you know me, always striving to remain invisible but this time am making an exception, the peeps seemed to like this posting and it'll bring you up to date, otherwise you'll be lost in subsequent post. sorry. i loathe drawing attention but this really will help you stay in the loop.
that's easily gotten around, try this site for the horse chestnuts. just tryin' to do my part to help you become the photographer you are. :)
Haha, I finally changed my shirt. Now to do something on that to do list....
I saw that and I think I will read it later, you see I have SO many issues with dentists and dental work, that I do not want to get myself all worked up before class. I get worked up enough as it is! Haha! Tomorrow darling, I will read those last 4 posts I do not recognize. I know I will enjoy the post, even though it will make me squirm knowing I have so many dental issues to deal with.
And they were I believe real chestnuts, I know what horse chestnuts are. They are sharp. Haha!
I also put myself on the outside of a group - and would learn so much more if I just sucked it up and started talking to them. LOL
gotcha. may be an "uncomfortable" read but a positive one too it it'll get ya to a dentist ...
Hidee hi !! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend after you got rid of that monster that was living in your tummy.

While is was at Borders over the weekend I looked at a magazine called Practical Photography (at least I hope that was the name of it). It was soooo good, but it was from the UK, so I didn't get any info to order it later.

I read some more about aperture, shutter speed, and ISO and I think it's starting to make more sense, but not enough for me to explain it to anyone else yet.

wow busy girl - i've kinda dropped off the radar too so don't worry about my blog got a lot of making stuff going on & catching up with everyone so haven't blogged for a while so your off the hook! lol take care babe & remember even if your shy you are also very talented ! (they are talented but also they maybe shy so you may have a lot more in common than you think! lol) seeya hugya *G*

welI did not do too much yesterday.... I got some pictures uploaded and printed for class. and I did one load of dishes, and got dressed. That is it. Haha!
ME TOO!!!! Gah! I am working on it!
maybe.... I am really scared of the dentist, I have pretty severe conditions in my mouth, I will read it today though
Awesome! I have been looking for a good magazine about photography, I may look that one up! I banished the belly monster, although I do not believe it is the last I have seen of him. I won this battle. Haha!
you are right, they may be just as scared of me as I am of them! Ha! Never thought of it that way before.
You could do an on-line search for them. It was the best photography magazine I've ever seen. Step by step instructions on how to create photos with dif special affects like star trails. They also had an in depth article on how to photograph wild birds. The language was plain and it was very well written.
I NEED that!!! I will look it up! Thanks!
Never be afraid to talk to artists at show! I guarantee we feel just as shy and silly :)
I've only been in a few shows over the past several years because I can be so shy.
Anyway, thanks for coming!
Next time, come find me-I swear I'm shy and nervous and won't bite :)
Oh Hi! Haha! Abby I really enjoyed myself. There are several images that are still stuck inside my head even now. I love that.
If I am ever in Portland again at a show where you are, I will give your hand a shake. ;-) I promise.
